Sometimes taking a stance for Christ comes with a season of separation. When the Holy One begins to prune you, He gently removes what no longer aligns with His purpose for you. Your desires begin to shift. The things that once consumed you lose their appeal, and your hunger for Him grows stronger. And in that transition, you may feel misunderstood or even out of place in a world whose language you no longer fully speak. But beloved, you are not alone. Sanctification is a sacred process. It is God lovingly stripping away everything that competes for His place in your heart, not to leave you empty, but to fill you with Himself, until the image reflected in you looks more and more like Him.
So if this season feels quiet, if your circle has become smaller, if your heart aches for companionship, remember this:
The same God who called you apart is walking with you through the process.
Interesting how this phase if done in total alignment to God; births another phase that makes the previous "luxurious" because - ....."all men seekest thou"....
